Share Market Open: Nifty came below 16 thousand points, Sensex dropped 800 points as soon as it opened

Earlier on Wednesday, even after a good start, the market had gone into decline. The Sensex closed at 54,088.39, down 276.46 points (0.51 per cent). Nifty was also down 72.95 points (0.45 per cent) at 16,167.10.

Stock Market Update: Due to all-round selling, the stock market is not getting any support from anywhere. The domestic stock market has been declining continuously for the last several days. Today, as soon as the market opened on Thursday, NSE Nifty came down below 16 thousand points. BSE Sensex also went into loss of more than 800 points as soon as it opened.

Even before the start of the domestic market session, even today, there were signs of a big fall. The BSE Sensex was down 480 points in the pre-open session. The futures of Nifty on the Singapore Exchange were also in a big decline. When the session started, the Sensex fell over 700 points. In the first few minutes of trading, it became clear that today's day is also going to prove to be very bad for the stock market. By 09:20 am, the Sensex had fallen more than 800 points to less than 53,300 points. Nifty was trading below 15,930 points with a loss of about 250 points.

Nifty was also down 72.95 points (0.45 per cent) at 16,167.10. The BSE Sensex closed at 54,364.85, down 105.82 points (0.19 per cent) at the close of trading on Tuesday. Similarly, NSE Nifty closed at 16,240.5 with a loss of 61.80 points (0.38 per cent).

Both the major domestic indices were in some strength in early trade on Tuesday, but later the market lost all the momentum. On Monday, the BSE Sensex fell 364.91 points (0.67 per cent) to end at 54,470.67. NSE Nifty also closed at 16,301.85 with a loss of 109.40 points (0.67 per cent). In Monday's trading, the Sensex had fallen by 900 points at one time and had come down below 54 thousand points.
